The Miami International Piano Festival organized its summer Academy in the astonishing environment of Villa Medici Giulini, located in a small village (Briosco) between Milan and Lake Como (Italy).
A small number of students had the opportunity to learn from and share music with some of the most renowned pianists of today in this 10-day unique program.
Giselle Brodsky, Artistic Director of the MIPF & Academy, led the project to its success together with maestros Stephen Beus (USA), Julien Libeer (Belgium), Yuval Cohen (Israel), Dmitry Ablogin (Russia), Carlo Palese (Italy) and Daniel Lebhardt (Hungary).
The Academy project in Italy, to happen again in Summer 2023, was directed by well-known MIPF artist Francesco Libetta.
