Concert program

I "Lesghinka", the Lyapunov's X Etude —a caucasian dance, inspired by Balakirev's "Islamey"
II "Aeolian Harps", the IX Etude by Lyapunov, confronts the performer with an entirely different set of difficulties, which, nevertheless are to be played in the lightest way.
III "Ronde des Sylphes" -a clear hommage to "Feux-Follets" (Liszt), the Lyapunov XI Etude. The two pieces share a lot of similar difficulties, and particularly the double notes.
